🏆 Selection Process - Complete 7-Step Journey
- 1Step 1: Online Registration → Register on UPPBPB official website with valid email ID and mobile number. Fill application form and upload documents.
- 2Step 2: Written Examination (CBT) → Computer-Based Test of 300 marks covering General Knowledge, Hindi, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning. Duration: 2 hours. Negative marking: 0.5 marks per wrong answer.
- 3Step 3: Result & Shortlisting → Merit list prepared based on written exam marks. Only shortlisted candidates (3x vacancy) will be called for next stage.
- 4Step 4: Document Verification (DV) → Original certificates verified: Educational qualification, Age proof, Caste certificate, Domicile certificate, Character certificate.
- 5Step 5: Physical Standard Test (PST) → Measurement of Height, Chest (for males), and Weight as per prescribed standards. This is qualifying in nature (No marks).
- 6Step 6: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) → Running test - Male: 4.8 km in 24 minutes, Female: 2.4 km in 14 minutes. Qualifying stage (No marks). Failed candidates eliminated.
- 7Step 7: Medical Examination & Final Merit List → Comprehensive medical fitness test by authorized medical board. Final merit list prepared based on Written Exam marks only. Selected candidates issued appointment letters.
